Frequently Asked Questions
What is Rithim?
Rithim is a cycle-aware ADHD symptom tracking app built by Clinical Psychologist Dr Deirdre Ryan. It helps you understand how your hormonal cycle affects your ADHD symptoms and gives you phase-specific strategies to work with your biology, not against it.
How does the Rithim Plus subscription work?
Rithim does not have separate free and paid versions. Rithim Plus is the subscription that provides access to the full app, including personalised cycle intelligence, deep neuroscience content, strategy packs, clinician reports, and expert briefings. Eligible new members can start with a one-month free trial. Your local price, billing period, and renewal terms are shown by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store before you confirm. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, the paid subscription begins automatically.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed through your device's app store. On iPhone: Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions > Rithim Plus > Cancel. On Android: Google Play Store > Profile > Payments & Subscriptions > Subscriptions > Rithim Plus > Cancel.
Is my health data safe?
Yes. Your data is stored in a secure PostgreSQL database in the EU (Frankfurt, Germany), encrypted at rest using AES-256, and encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS. We do not use any analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. We never sell your data or share it with third parties for their own purposes. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Can I export or delete my data?
Yes. Go to Settings > Privacy & Data Security in the app. You can export all your data in JSON format using "Export My Data" or permanently delete your account and all associated data using "Delete My Account."
Is Rithim a medical device?
No. Rithim is a wellness and self-tracking tool. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The information and insights in the app are for educational purposes. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical decisions, including any changes to ADHD medication.
What if I do not have a regular cycle?
Rithim supports multiple life stages including perimenopause, menopause, postpartum, and irregular cycles. During onboarding you can select your life stage, and the app adapts its content and tracking accordingly. You can also select "Unsure" and the app will help you identify your patterns.

About the Creator
Rithim was created by Dr Deirdre Ryan, a Clinical Psychologist who specialises in ADHD and women's health. Dr Ryan has ADHD herself and built Rithim because she saw a gap between the research on hormones and ADHD and the tools available to women living with it every day.
Rithim is developed and operated by The Rithim Collective Ltd., registered in Ireland.
